About CSC
The organizations that formed Children's Services Coalition are united around one purpose: providing mental health and substance abuse services to St. Louis County youth. In November 2008, we pushed our message out to the voters of St. Louis County, who passed a 1/4 cent sales tax, known as Proposition 1 and Putting Kids First. "Prop 1" provides funds to support the services we provide.
The Children's Services Coalition is made up of over 40 St. Louis County nonprofit organizations that provide a variety of support services to those younger members of our population, 19 and under, who suffer from mental health and substance abuse issues. The issues these young people face are as diverse as their backgrounds. But CSC and its member agencies are well-equipped to give them the tools they need to work through these challenges and to success in their lives.
Member Profile
Behavioral Health Response (BHR) is a professionally staffed, technologically sophisticated, accredited clinical call center. BHR provides expert behavioral health, crisis response, and corporate feedback services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to agencies and companies worldwide.
